Remote App Setup Guide

Remote Apps allow you to run business applications directly on your device without loading a full remote desktop. Follow the steps below to connect your workspace.

Windows Configuration

Open RemoteApp Connections

Click the Start Menu and type RemoteApp and Desktop Connections, then press Enter.

Access Remote Resources

Click on "Access RemoteApp and desktops" on the left-hand menu.

Enter Workspace URL

Paste the following URL when prompted:

https://your-server-url/rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx

Replace "your-server-url" with the one provided in your Alkemal welcome email.

macOS Configuration

  • Install Microsoft Remote Desktop from the Mac App Store.
  • Open the app, click the Workspaces tab, and click Add Workspace.
  • Enter your Feed URL and your Alkemal credentials.
  • Your apps will now appear in the Workspaces tab. Double-click to launch!

iOS & Android

iPhone / iPad

Download 'RD Client' from App Store. Tap + then Add Workspace.

Android Devices

Download 'Remote Desktop' from Play Store. Tap + then Workspaces.

Common Issues

"Workspace URL not found"

Ensure you are typing https:// and not just the domain. Most URLs end in /rdweb/feed/webfeed.aspx.

App opens but is very slow

Check your internet connection. Remote Apps require a stable ping to Alkemal Singapore servers (ideally < 30ms).
